1500 Feet Ahead

Kenai, Alaska
A homesteader's cabin on the Kenai Peninsula. The sheetmetal on the peak is
old 5-gallon coffee tins, opened and flattened. The interior is "insulated" with old
newspapers and flattened cardboard boxes dating back to the 1950s.
The dovetailed end, shown, was built first, then the rear half was added at some later date.
